White Chicken Chili Recipe

- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 medium Onion, diced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 lb Chicken breast, cooked and shredded
- 2 cans Great Northern beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can Green chilies, diced
- 4 cups Chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon Chili powder
- ¼ teaspoon Cayenne pepper
- ½ cup Sour cream
- ½ cup Heavy cream
- to taste Salt and pepper
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Add shredded chicken, beans, green chilies, chicken broth, cumin, oregano, chili powder, and cayenne pepper. Stir to combine.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
Stir in sour cream and heavy cream. Cook for another 5 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
