  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 packet Active dry yeast
  • 1.5 cups Warm water
  • 2 tablespoon Butter, melted

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. 2. Add flour, salt, and melted butter to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. 3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. 4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. 5. Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place it in a greased loaf pan.
  6. 6. Cover and let it rise again for about 30 minutes.
  7. 7. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the bread for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. 8. Remove from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
