Shepherds Pie Recipe
A classic comfort food dish made with ground meat and mashed potatoes.

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground beef or lamb
- 1 cup Carrots, diced
- 1 cup Peas
- 1 cup Corn
- 1 cup Onion, diced
- 2 tablespoon Tomato paste
- 2 tablespoon Flour
- 1 cup Beef broth
- 4 cups Mashed potatoes
- to taste Salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a skillet, cook ground meat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add diced onions, carrots, peas, and corn to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender.
Stir in tomato paste and flour. Cook for 2 minutes.
Gradually add beef broth, stirring constantly. Simmer until thickened.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Transfer meat mixture to a baking dish. Spread mashed potatoes on top.
Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until top is golden brown.
