Monte Cristo Sandwich Recipe

- 4 slices Bread preferably white or brioche
- 2 slices Ham
- 2 slices Turkey
- 2 slices Swiss Cheese
- 2 large Eggs
- ¼ cup Milk
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1 tablespoon Powdered Sugar for dusting
- 2 tablespoon Jam optional, for serving
1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
2. Assemble the sandwiches by layering a slice of bread, a slice of cheese, a slice of ham, a slice of turkey, another slice of cheese, and another slice of bread.
3. Heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
4. Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides.
5. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
6. Remove from the skillet and dust with powdered sugar. Serve with jam if desired.
