Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 can tomato puree (400g)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions 

  1. Marinate chicken with yogurt, lemon juice, cumin, coriander, turmeric, garam masala, and chili powder. Let it sit for at least 1 hour.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoon butter in a pan. Cook the chicken until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add remaining butter. Sauté onions until golden brown.
  4. Add garlic and ginger. Cook for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in tomato puree. Cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Add chicken back to the pan. Stir in heavy cream. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Season with salt. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
