Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Beef chuck, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 Large onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Caraway seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper
  • 3 Carrots, sliced
  • 2 Bell peppers, chopped
  • 4 cups Beef broth
  • 2 Potatoes, peeled and diced

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add beef and cook until browned on all sides. Remove beef and set aside.
  2. 2. In the same pot, add onions and garlic. Cook until onions are translucent.
  3. 3. Stir in paprika, caraway seeds, salt, and pepper. Cook for another minute.
  4. 4. Return beef to the pot. Add carrots, bell peppers, and beef broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1.5 hours.
  5. 5. Add potatoes and continue to simmer for another 30 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
  6. 6. Adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot.
