Cobbler Filling
- 4 cups fresh cherries, pitted
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Cobbler Topping
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup butter, melted
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine cherries, sugar, and lemon juice. Pour into a baking dish.
In another bowl, mix flour, sugar, and baking powder. Stir in milk until just combined. Pour batter over cherries.
Drizzle melted butter over the batter. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
