  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup unsalted butter cut into pieces
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. 3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. 4. Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  5. 5. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat in the Alfredo sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. 6. Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
