  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 can Kidney Beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Chopped Onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoon Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. 3. Stir in the chili powder, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another minute.
  4. 4. Add the diced tomatoes and kidney beans. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. 5. Serve hot, garnished with your favorite toppings like shredded cheese, sour cream, or chopped green onions.
