Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cooked Chicken, diced
  • 1 cup Frozen Peas and Carrots
  • cup Butter
  • cup All-purpose Flour
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 ¾ cups Chicken Broth
  • cup Milk
  • 2 pieces Pie Crusts store-bought or homemade

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour, salt, pepper, and onion powder until well blended.
  3. Gradually stir in broth and milk, cooking and stirring until bubbly and thickened.
  4. Stir in chicken and mixed vegetables. Remove from heat.
  5. Place one pie crust in a pie dish. Pour the chicken mixture into the crust. Top with the second crust, seal edges, and cut slits for steam to escape.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
