  • 2 cups Broccoli florets
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 small Onion, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until translucent.
  2. 2. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. 3. Stir in flour and cook for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. 4. Gradually whisk in chicken broth and milk. Bring to a simmer.
  5. 5. Add broccoli florets and cook until tender, about 10-15 minutes.
  6. 6. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. 7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
