  • 4 cups Day-old bread, cubed
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 0.5 cup Raisins (optional)

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Add the cubed bread and raisins (if using) to the mixture. Stir until the bread is well-coated.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the pudding is set and the top is golden brown.
  6. Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
