Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, sauté until softened.
  2. 2. Add mushrooms and cook until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. 3. In the same skillet, add beef slices and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. 4. Sprinkle flour into the skillet and stir to combine with the remaining fat. Gradually add beef broth, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
  5. 5. Reduce heat and stir in sour cream. Return beef and mushrooms to the skillet, mix well, and cook until heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. 6. Serve hot over egg noodles or rice.
